Artemis Baziotopoulou is a travel photographer based in Athens.
Photography began as a way to document travels, and it became more focused and meaningful after the first trip out of Europe to Egypt back in 2019. That experience sparked a deeper interest in cultures beyond the Western world, with particular reference points in Arab, African, Southeast Asian, and Latin / Native American ways of life.
The work seeks to explore and capture local customs, as well as the relationship between people and their environment—whether in nature or within urban settings, in large cities or small villages. By observing daily life and human interactions, the images aim to reveal a shared sense of humanity that persists across cultures and landscapes, shaped by different histories and lived realities.
